Image is the most effective from a single application.

Products containing 2,4-D can also be used. However they sometimes require more than one application.

Atrazine is wonderful on all the other winter annuals, but no effect on onions/ garlic. Advice: start real early late Sept. , Oct. , Nov. What type of turf??? Check:Image,Triplet, and 2-4D amine, Corsair, spot treat and stay on top of it. Good luck.us flag

I know this will depend on how bad they are, but the guy at Lesco told me to step on them first (or cut them). It works better if they are injured. Never had a problem killing them since then and I've been using 3way or momentum.
