Attention Grabber

    This year I’m going to do a very simple and straight-forward door hanger.

    I want the first line to be the ATTENTION GRABBER so people will read the whole piece.

    I want something to jog them into thinking about choosing their lawn care service right now, instead of waiting until it starts growing.

    If anyone has found a good, hard-hitting opening line, please share it.

    Start out with something like


    then put

    JUST KIDDING. under it.

    This is a good question and I have been experimenting also (but not with the above lines. I have tried putting some words upside down so they have to turn it over to read. My best luck came from just a straightforeward approach with nothing really flashy. Colored paper of heavier bond is good but expensive if you are not targeting a certain area.

    Went to a 7-11 once that had it's signs in the windows upside down.
    I asked him why. "To get peoples attention".

    So, put the first line upside down or backwords.
