Bachelor Buttons?

    Has anyone ever heard of a perennial named bachelor buttons, or is this just a case of a landscape architect changing the name of a plant?

    I've heard of them also known as Cornflowers (centaurea cyanus). Is a good grower in all sozes but I believe it is an annual not a perrenial.
