How does the lighting with a 60in deck hold a hill ?
Not very well. They are too front end heavy.
I will put them up with any other o turn mower out there. The center of gravity is very low and with the size of tires the just do a good job.
I don't know what type of hill you tried it on but I demoed one a couple months ago and took it on a huge pond dam and it held it better than our Scag Turf Tiger ever did... and I thought the Scag was pretty good on hills... I was really impressed with the Bad Boy. I think the suspension really helped... it sort of squats down to hold the hill. I could go side to side, back up, do whatever I wanted and the pond dam was as big an incline as I would ever take a rider on. Our next purchase is going to be the Lightning 60" with a 26hp LC Kawi for sure.
Two 60's on a very large and steep hill.....
For scale, the chainlink is a 10 foot fence.....
