i don't do much landscape stuff and have a mowing customer that wants three trees obtained and planted.
three italian cypress about 6' tall - 85.00 ea., time to go get them- 1 1/2 hr, about 16 miles round trip, and 1 1/2 hr planting time.
do you guys charge by the hour or the job ?
i just don't knowhat the average rates for landscaping run.
    thanks for any input.

I would charge around $561 before tax. This includes labor, materials, etc.

Or you could just tell the customer that it could be done for time and material. Just name you labor rate and the cost of material.

If you could get $561 that would be great! I would just charge him your hourly rate plus $100 just for the hassle of a small job.
