Bargaining with the dealer

    Is it common place to bargain with the dealer for price on commercial mowers or is the price you see a fixed price in general?

    Everything is negotiable. I never pay "retail" prices....

    Ditto for myself, in fact if they won't deal I won't buy from them, Unless they already beat evetone else's deal!!

    Its easier dealing with the dealers now that Im older. If they would of delt with me when I was younger they would of had it a lot easier, because I just told my father what I wanted and told him sic the dealer and felt sorry for the dumb ass dealer for being stupid and forgetting my money is just as green as the next guy. So I got what I wanted and payed alot less than they wanted. My old man could get satan to give him his soul back and someone elses so he had a extra one arround.

    So do the prices significantly in the fall? And are the dealers more likely to dicker with the prices later on, enough to make it worth waiting?
