Picked up a 1987 R30 Dumper with a 5.7L fuel injected engine, Turbo 400 tranny with 78,000 original miles. Spent about $1700 on her and here are the results.

Very nice job fixing that truck up. The 73-87 Chevys were darn good trucks. Did you replace the rocker panels or use body filler? Best of luck.

Looks like a brand new one. I like the chrome wheels, too. Sharp truck.

Bought the truck for $2500 with the plow, add in the $1700 and I have $4200 into it, plus 4 full days work.

Very nice job. It looks great.

Did you replace the amber lens on the pass side plow light? I can't tell from the pic:)

Chrome mirrors and wheel simulator give it a nice touch.

Yup, I did. The $1700 includes, new door seals, panels, side marker lights, paint, primer, 4 tires and stainless wheel liners, Stainless mirror kit new (ebay $75), Rear U joint, a few odds and ends at a boneyard, new tailgate fabricated by welder (old was rotted and had the 3 mason chutes), and 10 cups of Dunkin Donuts coffee.
