Don't blame me for an out of wack In Ground Sprinkler System!

Keep them suckers below ground so i'm not held responsible for cost of repair![IMG] :cool2:

Depends on the reason they are up... are they improperly installed (buy the homeowner) above grade? Or are they good heads at the proper level that are jsut sticking up either due to sand (wear) or old or broken retract springs?

Either way the first mentioned is just a mess... homeowners think that if they put them in high like that they can be seen and missed. wrong! the second situation is beyond your control. granted if you can see them and you are still whacking them that's pretty irresponsible... yeah it's a b**** to have to push them down to mow, but it seems every lawn has them from time to time. some heads are working fine but just don't retract. yeah hitting it will get it fixed eventually, but you may be paying for it... otherwise it may be a guyser for weeks before anyone notices and then the turf dies...

I avoid hitting them, but many times you can't even see them. then it's just oops!

JOEWOOD: what's with the jolly green giant in the middle of all your posts? are you trying to sell us vegetables on the side or something? lol
