I have a new holland GT18 with a koler command 18 hp with 48 inch deck with power flow bagger. The engine is horizontal with driveshaft to the tranny. The belt to the deck comes of the front of the the engine at the front of the tractor makes a 90 degree turn then heads to the deck. This belt just keeps getting tighter and tighter , i did find one problem a pully bearing was shot. Is this my only problem or is there somthing else making the belt get tighter. any help is welcome.

Belts keep getting tighter??! Normal belts get loose or jump off. Oh well, I not familar with the New Holland/Ford lawn tractors, however this style drive system is nothing new. Sounds like you have a tensioner pulley that is jammed up or the pivot bracket for it is froze up. Also check to make sure the engine mounting bolts are tight and the deck mounting system is in good working order.

sdwally gave you some good things to check for the belt getting tighter. This is an odd thing to happen. Well that explains the bearings going out, to much tention on a bearing can mess them up fast.
