Will I know it if I bend or damage a spindal in anyway? Ran over a 5" stump yesterday... Made a loud racket for about 3 secs... backed off, stopped motor and looked at blades. No visible damage. Not even a chip in the blades. Started back up and seemed to cut just as good but felt like it vibrated a bit more than in the past. No other unusual sounds.

Vibration is a dead give away that something is bent. How bad is the question. Now the spindle may not be what is bent but the blade my be what is bent.
