I have a patch of St. Augustine growing in my front yard in the middle of bermuda grass. It is in full sun and I water about 2x a week. I'm in Texas so the temp can get in the 100s. I was wondering which grass will win out and outgrow the other. Thanks!

I would say the st austgine will win as it seems to run higher on the ground (stolons etc) so it may just go over the Bermuda like a roll of carpet will do.

You keep putting the water to it the St Augustine will do fine, but if you cut back on the water then bermuda will take it.

How much are you fertilizing? What is your mowing height?

I've been fertilizing about once every 2-3 months. I mow on the highest setting on my mower every week.
