This link was the best 2 pages I've read in 10, maybe 20 years.

We just happen to already practice soil care in this manner from years of trial and error.

Do you think this can change your perspective on pesticide use and fertilizing?

Very interesting reading. Thanks for sharing.

It seems I continue to gain more and more interest in gaining a true working knowledge of organic lawn/landscape care and integrted pest management. In time it may warrent some winter course study.

I almost took a winter course this year - a repeat of the Tree Care at Portland Community College.

Usually, both the tree classes there, and the 3 plant ID classes, are almost equivilent to the ISA Certified Arborist Study guide material.

Since I want the ISA certification, and found out the test is in less than a month, I decided to invest in the guide and other books this season, rather than the class.

    Maybe Irrigation II next spring.

I love college - for credit or audit. Its a blast every now and then to enroll, learn, meet new people and BS a bit. The evening atmosphere is decent for my taste.

A computer class was my last adventure. I'll go for the hort area next time.
