Whats the best under deck scraper you have used?
2" or 3" stiff putty knife
putty knives, and a hard plastic scraper. I find that WD-40 sprayed under the deck makes the grass come off easier.
1 1/2" beveled chisel
I purchased a bee hive tool this summer for deck scraping. I like it better than my putty knives. It's a 10 inch Painted Hive Tool and is made of high quality spring steel. It has one tapered flat end and one curved end for scraping.
i use one of those i picked up from HD
Where did you get it?
hey that is a nice lookin tool might have to get me one of those
Look in your wife's kitchen drawer for one of those little brown plastic scrapers that comes with the baking stones. Lock it into a pair of long nose vice grips, and you're good to go. It won't scratch the paint of the deck, and the grips put it at about a 30 degree angle, keeping knuckles from getting busted.
I searched online and found it at Jones Bee Company in Utah.
It scrapes off hard caked on grass better than my putty knives.
