They made commercial WBs in the 90s...then mysteriously quit.
I do love Honda engines. My fave car I've owned was a '91 CRX Si. That sucker loved to rev, so silky/smooth...and I never, not once, got less than 30mpg...topping out at 43mpg a few times.
My gals '97 Civic has been a GREAT car...though she's getting real close to acquiring a new Honda Fit or used CRV.

those fits are awesome. most people just don't like them because they are so small in size. everyone is so fixed on having a huge suv or something these days and they wonder why they get 15mpg.

i'm just curious does every person in the world that drives have 8 kids to haul around?

i've always hated big cars and trucks. they are hard to park and fit into tight parking lots and they are terrible on gas and they don't look as good either. everyone loves double cab trucks but i just think they look ugly. i have a reg cab toyota tacoma 4x4.

i could maybe see an extended cab but i really dont' even like those either. it just makes the wheelbase longer. shorter wheelbase is where it's at. you can fit into smaller places and make tighter turns which is great. you also get better mpg.

anyways the fit has alot of power for it's size and still gets 35mpg or better. best thing about it is you need new tires it will probably cost $300 since they are so small. the maintenance side of things you will hardly have to spend any money on that car.

i get new tires for my truck and it's like $700. it's crazy. you used to could get 4 tires for a truck around $400. tires have doubled in price in the last 10 years. it's nuts.

Agreed, though an extended cab truck (like my Frontier) provides a nice enclosed/secure space...for my sub & amp & tools & whatever!

i keep my tools behind the seat in my reg cab. i have plenty of room. i had subs in my old '88 reg cab and they almost blew me out of the truck.

i just took them out and put 6 1/2" speakers in the doors. that was plenty of bass for that small cab back then. the reg cab nowdays has a ton of space behind the seat. the older ones didn't have so much room.

Honda does make commercial mower engines. Use to be an option on Scags up to 2-3 years ago. I still see Honda ads in landscape magazines.

never seen one. i know they made some for like the hustler fastrak mowers or something but it wasn't like a full on commercial engine.

Most of the gas motors they put on lawnmowers are throw away engines. I have a 3 cylinder Daihatsu on one of my mowers and it is a real motor. it has a cast iron block and head. My Daihatsu has about 2500 hours on it and it runs like the day it did when it was new.

I had a 2008 Honda Fit. Folks can say what they want about them but when you add a Super Charger to them they become real stupid real fast! The 08 Honda Civic SI I had was the same way. My family owns Grissom Honda in East Gadsden. Needless to say I went through Hondas.
