Hey guys! I am needing to purchase a leaf blower. I will be using t quite often, so I want it to be large.
Either way I am buying a backpack blower. I just feel that if I am using it a lot, I want to be comfortable.

Which is the best name, and what size you think? What kind do you use and does it work well?

I want a good deal that will last a long time. Thanks!!!

Ahaha not sure I need one THAT big...actually I got to thinking and I obviously don't need a backpack blower. It would be nice, but I wouldn't need one. If you knew of a good quality handheld, that would be great too. I just want to get a well made model that will last a long time and get the job done.

up to $300...maybe a bit more. I really do not need anything too big due to the fact I am not that big as a company yet. I would just really like the added comfort of the backpack deal. Obviously, I do not need that though. I read about the Stihl BG 55 and people seem to like that. Would it work for my use though? Mostly residential with a couple commercial? They run roughly $150. I could get 2 for the price of one here though.

Have a look at the Stihl BR200, its a backpack with decent power, very light. Youll get tired of holding the handheld blower day after day for longer periods of time, especially when it comes time to blow leaves. Everyone here says to get the biggest backpack you can afford to start off with. Id recommend the Stihl brand.

Absolutly when it comes to a blower I would get the biggest you can possibly manage. If there is any way possible you can afford the BR600 get it! If you have the desire to grow your company then operating at maximum efficiency is a must. It doesn't get more efficient than the BR600. You say you don't need a backpack blower, but I cannot imagine a situation in the mowing business in which you don't "need" a backpack blower. If you think you don't need it, it's only b/c you've never had one. When the self propelled 21" mower came out people thought they didn't need anything more: until they hopped on a 36" Murray. Then they thought it couldn't get any better: until they hopped on a 48" Z turn..... you get the idea. Don't sell yourself short, get a big and bad backpack and you won't regret it.

No I completely understand what you are saying. I have read about that blower and I know it is a good one. I will continue to research the blower. I really appreciate your help!
