Whats the best machine to use to cut ditches besides a weedeater or trimmer?
Steep or gentle slope? All of these things and then some should color your decsion. For just doing junk grass ditches, I'm thinging a trimmer mower may be the ticket. For a nice, manicured ditch, maybe a Flymo type gadget.
A 21" push mower would work good for ditches.
There is a company that makes a mower specifically for that and I thought they were called kwik cut but that isn't it. someone posted the site before. But they aren't cheap.
If you just mean some small stuff then either a 21 push or a 36 WB is what most use and get the rest with a line trimmer.
Guess it depends on how wide and steep it is. Something like this may be way overkill http://www.tiger-mowers.com/products/boom/default.asp perhaps a flex-deck instead or an Allen hovermower?
