What are yall finding is the best setup for bahiagrass as far as blades and mulching/side discharge? I'm looking for a setup that cuts clean, doesn't leave pieces standing, and doesn't leave thick blankets of grass all over the place. I have Exmarks with a 52" and a 60" UltraCut, 25 hp Kohler, one with and one without a mulch kit. I am experimenting with high-lift side discharge, gators, and mulching blades with and without a mulch kit. Just curious as to what others have found to work best?

I got a bunch of properties with Bahia grass and I only mulch. The best way I found to keep it looking good is cutting low at around 2 inches and using sharp blades. I have found that a discharge blade with a medium lift works best in tall grass, and in fall I use high lifts. This setup works great on St. Augustine and Bermuda as well.

I mulch bahia, the lower you can cut it the better.

Sharp blades and cut low. I cut at 2.25". I use an exmark 60" triton deck.
