Best sulky?

I had a one wheel sulky before and won’t ever do it again... I weigh 205 lbs and if the grass is wet at all, have fun with that. I had one yard it basically left a muddy tire print down the center of the stripe.

I’m looking at a 2 wheel to help distribute my weight and I’ve never used the Kage sulky but I think I might spend the extra money and go that route.

That’s what I’m saying, 205 isn’t a whole lot of weight but I rather disperse the weight over 2 wheels instead of one. Just my opinion with having a one wheel sulky for one summer. If the grounds soft at all, it leaves ruts etc.

Ferris just came out with a new velky.....tapered bearings in the arm circled in red. Only grease fittings are on the wheels....That arm circled in red is made the same way as the caster wheels on mowers...pop the cap and pack with grease on occasion. I don't know how often... I tried it out on the mower and it is a pretty smooth solid ride. Not as much movement as the velky's out there on the market.

Here's a vid of the quick disconnect where it hooks to the mower...

Dang that looks pretty decent! How much is Ferris asking for those? I like how quick it can be removed. Looks pretty solid and durable. Also curious to see what the dealer says about hooking a velky up to a fw25 with the 18.5 hp motor. I know it will have plenty of power, i guess I would be more worried about the frame and where it attaches to the mower.
