Just how new are you in this business?
Point being, you do need a mower to 'be in' this business.
Time to buy, hard to tell.
Sometimes the end of season, businesses folding, selling out, dealers and manufacturers have tax times too, may find an overstock situation.

Pre Spring & early Spring, LCO's upgrading might sell used equipment, dealers may have trade ins. New models may come out resulting in 'clearance' pricing on last years model.

No, there really isn't a known "best time", just have to keep looking and asking.

Well as for new......we'll call it brand new. I am going to start next seaon, so I am still in the planning stages of the whole project. I wasn't sure if the dealers sell leftovers cheaper when the new models come in, or if they sell them for less in the offseason...or are there big pre season spring sales. Basically I dont want to buy a mower...then two or three months later miss a big sale....thanks guys
