I want to buy a zero turn for my business. If i have around 20-30 residential accounts what make and size (im thinking around 54"), etc. would be a good purchase and best value? I want to save money and can't splurge on a mower but ill find a deal somewhere.
Inexpensive? I don't really consider 6000 for a new one exactly cheap. But they are great mowers. If you want the rz you can get a 42 for cheap. I love my procat.
Those are large residential lawns IMHO. If you're making enough to afford payments I wouldn't hesitate to finance especially at 0%. Why let them make more money of your money while you can make money off it for 3 years. The new husqvarna stuff is top notch. I would look into a Toro z master. With the Husqvarna resale will be less than a more well known brand such as Toro, Exmark, Scag, Wright, Hustler etc. I know that 33 is a MTD product and is about to crap out on you most likely, but you can't compare that to a commercial walk behind.
Whatever you decide on, now is a great time to haggle on a good price for a commercial mower.... based on the fact that we are mid-way through the season.
Just make sure you have written prices from various dealers [in person, online and don't be afraid to scroll out of town/state] as this will cement your negotiating powers.
