Best visual aid for insect monitoring

    I need to get a new hand lens (or magnifier or head mounted lens) for identifying insects. What has anyone found that works well for them & what to avoid? Thanks for any input.

    Thanks, I have the 10X & 15X and was looking for something different. The thing I didn't like about them is that, the diameter of the lens is only a 1/2". I think the gemplers 20x is the same diameter. I went ahead & bought one that is 1.25" in diameter( bigger than a quarter) & the old sherlock holmes style one.
