Hey guys i just got a request for a bid for 17 yards of mulch. They are supplying the mulch all i have to do is lay it down. Ive never bid a job for that much mulch but i was thinking 30 a yard installed since i dont have to pay for the mulch. Does this sound right.

$50 -$60 just to move and spread mulch per yd.
You lost a big part of your profit margin when they bought from someone else

I just put in a bid like that but for 16 yd's and I did $60.00 per yd. My final price was $1100.00 for the job.

In NC you'd be lucky to get $30.00 per yard for just installation.
