this is the nursery my brother has started. we trenched in the pvc to feed the drip on all the rows. When it is all said and done it will be about 15 acres of plants. the system will run off a well that is putting out 75 gpm. sorry about he crapy pics they are from my phone.
Around here the Maxi and Mini sneakers are like gold. Not many of them left in this area; I'm pretty certain the Mini got dropped from production years ago, and I believe that they quit selling the Maxi in Canada. Every person I've talked to that owned one thinks they are just great machines...
the pipe in the pics is 2" for the laterals and is fed by 3" main in the center for this section of the field and there will be 4'' run in the other direction for the other field. its all toros 24" spacing ag drip.
the plant material is arbravite, leland cypress, cryptameria, crepe mertle, blue spruce, juniper, and privet. some of the plants started in pots and some were bare root but all are being planted as a long term investment.
the ground was easy trenching, it was almost too soft we were worried the trencher would not work.
the machine worked great. It was my first real test of it since I bought it in february.
