Wow. That's a huge hiest.
They would of had at least 9 guys to drive those trucks away. Seems like a dumb choice for a robbery.
Drove straight to Mexico
I doubt it. Pretty long drive. Got to feel bad for US Lawns and the employees. Hopefully they get rolling quick.
Organized crime or gangs. Either way very bad for the company. Hopefully they will recover quickly and get back to work.
How can you fence 9 trucks worth of equipment fast enough for at least 9 guys to get their cut. If you show up to a pawn shop with 18-20 handhelds it is sure to throw a red flag. And so many people would hear about this that Craigslist would seem to be out, show up to buy a blower and see 18 mowers and a mound of trimmers.
That's why it seems like a dumb robbery choice unless it was 9 disgruntled employees which is very unlikely. The equipment would have to be used or sold in another county or state. They recovered 2 trucks already so maybe were stripped for parts? Someone is going to get caught and will rat out everyone else. Looking forward to them getting prison time.
Yep, welcome to SC! Spartanburg, where I live is the worst for thieves it seems. What happened to the good old days of being able to trust people?
