bigger tire

    just wondering how much difference it would make switching from 21x11x8 to 22x11x8 tireson my snapper zrider, my reason is i can't find my size any where around here. plus I have what I call ground hawg tires on and would like to switch treads thanks Doug:

    as long as you have the clearance you should be ok.

    The larger tire won't hurt as long as you enough room around the tire. But you have to take in consideration of a bigger tire also lifts the mower higher. So, you would be cutting an half inch higher on your deck height. Be sure to either adjust deck to compensate or mower half inch lower.

    You might even find going to a different "brand" of tire will give you a larger or smaller diameter.
