It looked like a bird nest that come from debris landing in box. No easy way to blow it out. I got to find a solution ...maybe some pieces of rubber tubing riveted along sides?

on my cheetah i try to blow around the edges of the control box so the debris will come out of the bottom. there are small openings at the top and the bottom for dust and debris to go in and out of. stuff still gets in there though.

my deere had a lot of stuff in it when i took it off to change the pto switch.

they certainly don't make these things tight where stuff can't get in there.

A good shop vac is very useful. Blowing can introduce particles into switches and electrical connections causing corrosion.
