    Any ideas?

I just layed new sod (Zoysia) and since the sod had ants, we treated for ants and grubs. The next day we have tons of birds picking at the new sod.

    Should I be worried?

Not unless they are ripping up the newly laid sod to get at the insects.

you might have dead birds in your backyard if they start munching on the insecticide...besides a crow graveyard out back i wouldn't worry.

Just out of curiosity, what did you use on this lawn to kill grubs AND ants.....?
