I bought a 36" Bullet about 4 years ago for my 1/2 acre lawn.
I would like to upgrade the blades to a mulching type. The company that sold me the mower says mulching blades are not worth installing on this mower.
I have found a few web sites that offer "high lift" or "Gator magnum" blades.
    Any opinions?

ive got a 36" bunton and the gator and magnum mulchers work great in the fall . not sure what the hell your dealer was telling you . but mulching blades have there place you could also try doubles , high lifts on the bottom and mulchers on the top . when ya bolt them up put them in a X pattern

I've been reading a lot of good things about the Gators, & have ordered a set. I should have them any day.
When you double up blades, do you use one of those cross brackets? Or just bolt two together?
