Blade speed question?

Alright I don't mean to bring up a pissing contest about who likes what brand...BUT I do have a pointed question? Kubota's blade speed being at 17000...does it really matter that its slower than Toro's 18,500? Both the ZD221 and the Zmaster 48" are nice. I like the Kubota because it's all made for each other but I do wonder if slower blade speed equates to slower mph due to clogging and crappy cut?

Sorry I posted as a reply, my bad.

IME, clogging is due more to the design of the baffling and/or blade design, than BTS.

The higher the BTS, the faster you can theoretically go, since it gives more blade strikes per inch of forward travel, which leaves fewer stragglers all else being equal (like blade design and sharpness).

Thanks Ridin, makes more sense to me now. Appreciate it.
