I have a new set of Fusion blades on a Hustler 54 wb with maybe 10 hours on them. Yesterday I hit a good size rock that was half burried in the ground. There are a few small nicks on the blade. Should I try to sharpen them or just replace them? These blades are getting pretty "salty" in price. I would have to look to see what I paid for them, but I know I paid $44 for the Fusion blades on my 36 wb! Advice is appreciated! Thanks!

Sharpen and Balance...should be fine unless they are really damaged. Be sure and check the balance. Once one of my guys hit a piece of rebar and knocked a small knick in the middle of the blade. What we didn't realize was that it actually warped the entire blade.
Good luck. Fusions are made of really tough steel.

if i got a new blade everytime one got nicked i'd be broke. make sure it is not bent. if it is, its no good. throw it away. if not bent, sharpen and balance properly. no problems
