Maybe this is just unique to our area of Western New York, But for the last 4 years we have seen the most dynamic and unpredictable weather patterns. 100 Year Snowstorms, Weeks & Weeks of rain, and now a crippling drought. What is making me more and more irate are the people who can, but don't water their lawn. Oh, It is just too expensive to water...blah blah blah Yet they will run to the casino, or play bingo every week. I am fed up at the lack of respect of our livelihood. When it was raining every day, we lost a ton of work and were losing our shirts on the lawns, now it is too dry and people are just reveling in the thought of one or two cuts a month instead of 4-5. I guess it is time to start cherry picking customers who are serious about their properties and dumping the rest....Anyone else dealing with "tightwads" this year....more than usual?

:blob3: P&P, same hear, you dont hear a peep about the condition of the lawn in spring when it rains every 3 days but now, different animal "why my lawn so brown", well the fact that you have not 1 tree and your lawn bakes for 12 hours has just alittle to do with that. unbelievable, lawns are smoked down here, we did 77 lawns today i think we brought back maybe 6 green barrels of grass, when in normal conidtions we take a rack truck and a mason dump worth away. talk soon tony

yes, i love em, you have described almost all my customers, they go out to dinner, bingo, vaction, but complain when i cut the yard every 5 days in the spring and fall yet thats what they agreed to. but next year will be fun when i almost double almost all their price per cuts, and charge them more for fall clean ups.
