Don't look at MPH, look at CFM. Example:

The following blower is listed as having a 225mph maximum air speed.

    http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100091571&N=10000003+90401+502756&marketID=401&locStoreNum=8125

Very misleading when comparing it to the next blower.

    http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100140500&N=10000003+90401+502756&marketID=401&locStoreNum=8125

The heavy-duty blower only lists its air speed as 200mph, HOWEVER the big one is rated at 1,500CFM while the small one is 275CFM.

Thats right...cfm's is what you should be looking at, not mph!
