Leaves will be falling soon and some of you will probably start to experince blowout on the front of your decks. I had a friend last year using his walkbehind and was in so many leaves it clogged the air intake and blew his motor. I have a fix some of you might want to try. I did this for his new mower, I don't have many leaves on any of my properties so I have not had to do this as of yet. I went to the local farm store and got some wire mesh like chicken wire and attached it to the front of his deck. I then bent it over towards the ground. The leaves no longer come out the front and the mower does a much better job chopping them up.
