I'm pretty sure they also offer it with a 17hp or 19hp kawasaki engine. The Bobcat mowers cut and stripe excellent. I run a couple and have been pleased with mine!

    One thing to think about....
My Quick 36 has a 15HP Kaw, and it is plenty (if not overkill) power even in 5" grass.
Don't think you will need a 21HP on a machine like this, save some $$:)

I am pretty pleased with my bob-cat, it cuts and performs well but I just don't have a good dealer any where close to me. I think you'll be very happy with the fast cat, and that engine may be a little overkill, but it never hurt to have extra power.

I havent tested the bobcat yet. Did test the gravely 34z. Liked it but the problem is it didnt quite measure 34". Thanks to some genius engineer, the front wheels flare out. The result was mower 34.5" wide until you hit the front wheels which flare out to 36". (kinda defeats the purpose doesnt it?)

Checked out the bobcat but its just over 36" wide. My dealer only carries it in a 21hp BS. (not sure how I like BS. Im only experienced with Kaw and Kohler) The price is good $4395 before mulch kit. The dealer is also excellent.

If I can make sure it fits in my backyards, I will probably go with it.

I have a gravely 34z its ok but underpowered @ 15 hp. New ones are 17 hp that may be a little help.

curious chuck, if your 34z is a 34" mower, how on earth would it be under powered with a 15hp engine? Maybe you are bushhogging with it, that may explain it. But on normal grass, that thing ought to eat grass alive. My Quick with a 15HP Kaw is more than enough for everything I have cut and that includes up to 5-6 inch moist grass.

The 34Z is rider that can mow at 9 mph. The 15 is a little underpowered for such work. It is way underpowered for mulching at top speed. I have a 36" Stander with a 17 hp Kawasaki; it only bogs down in the tallest grass or mulching piles leaves at over 7 mph. I'm glad I don't have the 15 hp engine is such situations.

Ahhh, the rider explains it. 15HP on a 36" WB should be way ample, maybe not so on a rider....
