Anyone know where one can buy new body parts at a reasonable price. ie: fenders, doors, rockers, cab corners? And do they fit up as good as the OEM parts? Thanks for your advice.

'Cause I'm from Canada (eh? ;) ) I don't know of specific sources for body panels other than the JC Whitney catalog, but parts for those trucks are so common you shouldn't have any trouble finding 'em. Last time I put tin on my '75, I ordered them through a local parts supply company that has a bodyshop supplies division. Check around locally and see if there's something like that in your area.

Fit? Depends on who you ask - some swear by them, others at them. IMO, they fit OK but perhaps not quite as good as the "Genuine OEM" (at genuine OEM prices) parts.

For a work truck, I'd have no problem using the non-OEM ones.

I am curently working on two long term restorations. One a 1975 Mercedes 300D and then second a 1980 Ford F350 4x4. The F350 will be a friends work truck so we are using non OEM parts. This is a huge savings.

On the Mercedes which is mine I am doing a total restoration. This means two new fenders right from Mercedes. These book out at around $750 each. (I did get a bit of a break) I would not consider using aftermarket parts.

It all depends on the job IMO.
