Purchased a Z4 about 6 weeks ago and really like it. I notice that the bolt that the top of the ROPS hinges on is the same length on both sides and that it makes it too short on the side that has the "stop" welded on. (The "stop" is what I call that U shaped piece of metal that holds the ROPS at an approx horizontal position when folded.) Becasue the stop is approx 1/4" thick on both sides the bolt is apporx 1/2" too short and therefore the nut only engages approx 1/2 of the bolt. I asked the dealer and he said thay all come that way. It is easy enough for me to go buy a longer bolt but seems strange to me that it would be this way and so I wanted to mention it on the forum.

Congrats on the new mower! and welcome to the Hustler family.
The nut itself is slightly oval shaped, it is done so that it will lock on and not come loose, you can put a longer bolt on there if you wish, but you will need to replace the nut also with the same style.
