Little bit of work I have done in the past 2 weeks for a lady that lives a street over. I have been doing all kinds of things for this lady. All her steps to the back alley were buried in weeds, she wanted it cleaned up for safety reasons:

Trimmed up a tree(actually I did a bunch) that was all up against the house:

The day before I went to go and do a little bit of work she had a small fire at night, apparently she had a little planter with compost and she stirred it up and it caught:eek:

I like it ya. No real problems with it, I and I give it a pretty good workout. Its got 130,000 mile on it. I brought it with 111,500. I would like to upgrade to a 3/4 ton though

Do you think a 3/4 ton really makes the difference?

Yea, especially when you are pulling a trailer daily and even snow plowing. I am always hauling stuff in my bed, like mulch and manure and when it comes to topsoil and stuff I can only haul a little bit. You never know what you might be hauling so its always better to go bigger
what did you use to do the clearing job?
Mostly my gas hedge clippers, used the chainsaw a little, raked it all up and put it in barrels. I hit a piece of metal fence with my hedge clipper and screwed them up a little:cry: but I sharpened them the next day

Yeah true, im not hauling too too much yet so really dont have the need

Ya thats what I thought too, wasn't too bad the first summer I had my truck, but this summer I was hauling all kinds of stuff, I haul scrap and stuff too.
why diddent you use the string trimmer
I didn't use the string trimmer on some other stuff, I needed to clean up around her house, but that stuff all over the steps was just to thick!

few more, I am doing a nice size pine tree cleanup this week also. I also did a huge clean up over the summer for a guy who had tree branches fallen all over a property of his, luckily I was able to dump on site for that one, I'll get some pics of that up sometime.

This is not as far into the street as it seems, and what was I had cleaned up pretty fast. I remember this day well, I got drenched while cleaning up

Ugh, I've got a cleanup to do tomorrow with a huge ass log in the back, been laying down for probably 3 years, hoping to hook on to it with the Tractor
lol, not sure how big it is but sometimes tractors have a tough time with them. I know from experience lol. 4x4 Atvs are great at it though. Do you have a saw? Cut it in half if you have too. Good luck, post some pics!
