I have a br420 that when cold, it starts on first pull. However, when it is warm (used, then turned off) it doesn't want to start. Currently the on/off switch doesn't work, haven't had time to tear it down. To turn it off, I turn the carb switch to choke which cuts the engine out. Is this flooding the engine not allowing it to start again? Or, is there another problem?

Yes I will bet it floods the engine this model is very very sensitive to flooding when hot. If you don't want to tear into the handle to fix just splice a wire that you can ground manually. I have used these little blue splicing devices so you don't have to cut the wire.
