I was doing a clean-up today and thought I would post a quick video of how well my BR600 does with the leaves. I had to get all the leaves to the road for the city to come by and suck them up tomorrow, so the leaf blower was pretty much the only option to do this. And boy am I glad I own the BR600!!!

Sorry for the poor quality of the video, it was off my cell phone...but its not too bad.

I gotta go with the Shindaiwa 8520. She's got the highest cfm out there. She's got a 79cc engine. She's got a 79cc engine. I use it only for leaves because it is rather heavy. But it will move leaves like no other. I have two of them, and i've used my echo pb620 to compare too. It's not a fair test. If you can handle the initial cost, and the weight of the unit, this beast WILL improve your bottom line. Wet leaves, pine needles, sticks anything that you throw at it will become your slave. I'm going to be trying some sidewalk shoveling this winter with it. Should be interesting.

how heavy is the Shindaiwa compared to the Stihl?

When you compare the largest models from each brand...they are all relatively comparable. There really won't be huge differences between them.

I've tried other blowers and have yet to find one as comfortable as the stihl BR600. With the stihl being powerful, lightweight, comfortable and fuel efficient....it makes for a good all around blower.

But its exactly like the chevy vs ford argument...I may like the stihl and you like the shindaiwa.

^ amen, when you compare the heavy hitters among the top brands, flow and velocity are close enough that you need to look at other aspects to make the decision.

love the comfort and light weight of my br600's along with the durability and low profile.
