My old controller finally quit on me. I'm looking at the Tekonsha Prodigy. Do any of you use it or is there a more popular/better model?

do you just set the level and it will work smoothly all day. My old one was always jerky and constantly needed to be adjusted.

What kind of truck are you puting it on ? I just picked one up for my new trailer and installed on my chevy. It pluged rite in to the factory wire harness, so far it works great. It also came with an option to switch it from truck to truck.

its going into an 02 chevy. did you have to order it with a chevy harness or it comes with more than one. my truck came with a harness that is hooked up to my old unit. am i going to use that same harness and hook to the new unit or you're saying the new units comes ready to plug in?

Tekonsha Prodigy all the way...best controller on the market. Draw-Tite also sells it as the Intella-Stop Ultra, same controller.
