Springfield, Illinois, (AgPR), April 11, 2013 – BRANDT, a leading manufacturer of agricultural specialty products, announced that George Murray has joined the company as a Tree Crop and Horticulture Specialist for the Specialty Formulations group. Murray’s primary focus will be to expand the company’s core nutrition and sustainable protection products into the arbor, landscape, greenhouse and specialty agriculture markets. He will report to Rodger Younker, National Sales Director.

“George is an incredibly talented individual and we are thrilled he has joined BRANDT,” said Rodger Younker, BRANDT National Sales Director. “We have a tremendous opportunity to grow our business in the specialty fruit and vegetable, landscape and greenhouse markets. George’s unique skill set and technical background will help demonstrate the added value that BRANDT’s products bring to growers.”

Murray is a certified Arborist and holds Baccalaureate degrees in Management and Urban Forestry from Purdue University, where his studies were focused on plant pathology, soil ecology and orchard production. Murray will work from his home in Indiana, but his responsibilities will cover the entire US.
