I have a opposed twin briggs, electric start only, was wondering if they made a recoil starter for this engine, or even a starter cup for a rope starter. Here's a couple pics of it. If you have a starter/cup let me know.

There is no recoil start for this engine, There was a rope pulley from years ago but not large enough to spin this big thing over.
    why the rope start ?

I was sort of thinking the same thing, being hard to spin over. But I had this motor on a 36" hydro, which now the 36" hydro frame has a 16 vanguard/52" deck from a belt drive. Here is a pic of the (new) hydro unit.I was going to put this old briggs twin this on the belt drive 36". Anyone have a good recoil start 12-15 hp motor for sale? :)
