briggs, engine spec.'s?

    :confused: hey im in the middle of an engine rebuild class for school and i cannot find the following manufactors specifications for my briggs and stratton 14hp OHV engine. model #: 261777

    here is what i need:
    cylinder out of round
    cylinder taper
    piston diameter
    piston diameter out of round
    connecting rod out of round
    connecting rod clearance
    intake valve stem diameter
    intake valve margin width
    exhaust stem diameter
    exhaust margin width

    if you know any of these or whre i might be able to find them. please tell. thank you.:dizzy:

    I don't worry about specs. much anymore, Engine rebuilds in a job shop is no longer cost efficient. Short-block or complete engine replacements are the going thing with places like Small engine warehouse and Ebay on the scene.
