Well, I knew the day would come, I pretty much deal with St. Augustine and Bermuda here in Central West Texas. I had my first call from a guy wanting me to spray his yard for broadleaf weeds in his fescue. He had no idea what kind of fescue other than he bought it at WalMart. Can you guys give me an idea on what I can put on this for him?

Right now Im spraying what I call a "universal mix". I can srapy it on every thing I treat except centipede and st. augustine. Its 3way, barricade, fertilizer. Its only about .25 pounds of fert, a bit less then the full rate 3way, and a split rate of barricade. I have found that many broadleafs die faster with a little fert in the mix. I have been holding off on the fert amounts because we are expecting a late freeze here pretty soon. Dont want to start promoting green up to soon on my bermudas. My fescues are really looking great though but I do think its tie to bump of the fert amount on them.

What are you spraying on your st augustines?
