I just bought a 781H Brown Trench Master at a yard sale. It is steerable with the 8 hp Honda engine. I dont even know what it is or how to use it. It jus seemed like a good price so I bought it.

My questions are: What is it? How do I use it. Is the price ok. I paid $45 dollars for it. It seems in good shape and the engine works.

Is it a useful item or should I try to sell it?

Thanks for any comments or help with this thing.

Well, can you tell me what it is used for. I am in washington state and I most likely would sell it. Where are u at. Shipping might be high. It was used by a guy who did concrete edging. Then he bought a sod cutter and did nt need the brown edger.

It depends on the head you have. You can get others the triangle head is for cutting natural edging into landscape beds. The flat heads are for trenching for various purposes. Not an everyday machine, but I like mine because i also got a deal on mine, I could not justify the price of a new one for how little we use it, most of our work is done by hand due to lighting and irrigation.
