Hi, the previous owners of my property tried to take out about an acre of brush on the backside of my home and while they obviously spent countless hours removing the brush with a chain saw. I now have approximately 1.2 million 1/4 to 1/2 inch stumps that stick out of the ground like spears waiting to destroy anything that approaches. Anyone have any good advice on how to resolve this issue in a quick efficient manner or am I stuck spending the summer prowling my backyard cutting off the stumps below ground level?

    Thanks for the advice!

Get a small skid loader and a root rake... a dingo would do fine.

If the "stumps" are that small, the roots aren't big and should come out simple. A picture would help us understand better though. I've done a bit of this in the past...its a waste of time cutting them individually at or below ground level.
