I have been looking into buying a small lot in town and building something equal to a two or three car garage for storage and a shop. A few questions, what have you ecountered with bank finacing for such a project? Thoughts of having your equipment storage area seperate from your home?

SBA loans are designed to help businesses grow. I don't know that many banks would fork over the dollars by themselves, they'd rather be the secondaries in an SBA loan, but this depends on the bank and what their target market is. Ask your banker - and shop around. If you're business can support the debt, you'll find someone to loan you the money. You may just have to jump through some hoops and promise your first born.
