I have Bunton 61'' 20 hp Onan and it howls after blade engagement, and smokes the main deck pto belt and the engine revs slow right down, as soon as i disengage the pto the revs come back up to normal. THe belt shakes and wobbles like crazy while engaged.Would misaligned or lose engine mounts cause the problem. In other words would the lose or misaligned engine mounts make the pulley spin out of 'true' thus causing the wobbling belt and loss of power??

This is really baffling me, the spindles are fine, all the belt guides are there and properly adjusted, the blade brake mechanism is adjusted right...i dont get it. Aslo why would the revs go down and stay down after blade engagement? It was suggested that maybe there was a problem with the governer, but that seems unlikely to me. Any thoughts?
