because of water restrictions I use underground drip....didn't take long to install....lines are 6" apart

How big of an area and how long did it take?

i don't know how long...i had a machine to cut the drip line so it goes fast ..we mainly use it for sidewalk to curb

Distance depends on size of pipe, grass type and output of emitters.

I've never seen them places quite that close before... that'd get monotonous on a larger turf area.

Funny you mention that. From what I've read, the spreading of the water underground is supposed to keep the soil from compacting, eliminating the need for aeration. I'm not sure how well that works in real life though.

What I don't like about drip is.....see second media....what is wrong?

I know the triangle area is no emitter close but don't understand rectangle area ....unless I stopped zsprayer with soil enhancer .

I used echo edged to make trench and 2" irrigation shovel to clean it up.
