by pass rain censure to turn on zone

    i am aerating lawns and cant turn on system due to the rain censure.
    how do i by pass or jumper it out?

    it really depends on how the sensor is wired into the system and what kind of controller the system has. Many controllers have a rain sensor bypass switch. If the rain sensor is wired into this circut, than the switch will bypass it. For controllers without this switch, and controller where the rain sensor is not wired into this circut, you'll have to find where the rainsensor is connected to the common wire (usually in a valve box near where the pipe comes out of the house) and bypass it there. Rainsensors are normally closed switches that open when there is sufficent rainfall. They're usually wired into the common wire, between the wire that runs to the controller (usually white), and the common wires from all the solenoids. To bypass the sensor, you just need to connect the controller common to the valve commons. Make sure you bring some waterproof connectors to hooke verything back up the way it used to be when it's done.
